Today we celebrate 250 years of our Nations Army in Washington D.C. as well as around the country. General George Washington in his defense of country from the British put together our first trained military which became the U.S Army.
We have watched our Military grow in size since the inception of our great nation. From a few thousand Army Soldiers tin 1775 to over four hundred and fifty thousand in todays Army.
The Army has seen every battle this nation has been involved in. From the Battle of Antietam to the Battle of the Bulge our soldiers fought with bravery to protect not only our Nation but Foreign Nations as well.
We thank our service members, past and present for all their sacrifices to protect this great Nation. President Trump stated they are the greatest military on Earth and ” Have obliviated our enemies”. We have sacrificed many American soldiers to live and breath the freedom our Constitution states belong to each citizen of this great Nation.
