July, 4th 246 Years Later

Today we celebrate our nations Independence which was brought to being by our Founding Fathers 246 Years ago as Thomas Jefferson and fellow citizens forge a new Declaration to a New World, a New Continent that would withstand the test of time.  This article has outlasted every other form of government in the history or the world.

August 2, 1776 was the date the Declaration of Independence was signed by the 56 members of the Continental Congress to move forward developing our Nation without outside interference from any Tyrannical government wanting to impose their dictatorship on American’s as they would soon be called.

Land that we love

We have spent 246 years trying to protect our freedoms from our enemies.  Those foreign and domestic have made numerous attempts to destroy our Nation.  Congress is our number one enemy currently as they vow to protect our Constitution though do everything in their power to eradicate the God given rights of a “Free People”

After spending much time addressing their grievances to the King and his council the Framers decided it was time to form the Committee to start the process of severing ties with those working against our cause to be a free nation.  There were dozens of enumerated usurpations outlined by Jefferson as they expressed why the Colonies were for a new Nation.

“In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.”

While you’re eating with your family, friends and loved ones, remember all those before us that sacrificed so much to give us the great nation with more freedoms than any other country in the World. Many of the original signers of the Declaration died poor, losing all that they acquired in their lives due to the fight for freedom.

.In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.”

We have many issues today with overspending, fraud and hatred from those elected to represent us and our nation searching for a one world government it appears.  We as Patriots will do all we can to remain a free nation of free people.
