As the World Series of Poker draws to a close many individuals will be ecstatic to finally get the name of the winning player.  Many of the entrants will leave with Prize money above their entrance fees as they sat at the tables day in and day out grinding away hoping for an opportunity to bluff their way into winning a Gold Bracelet. Those who participate anti up a $10K entrance fee with hope and dreams of a huge payday. Some fall early and vow to return for next years tournament where others are happy to say they placed in a position to cash out more than they paid to enter.

Many dealers and floor will enjoy a much deserved break from the grueling days and nights of nonstop action in the casinos as poker players converge on the table games to relax after their day is finished at the event.  Dealers handle a huge increase in business as millions of dollars are generated at the casino over their normal daily drop.  Any where you go at this time the tables are full as poker players play to relax after their day of poker has ended. Seems they never sleep during the tournament.

The restaurants are overwhelmed during the intermittent breaks given during the day as the players scramble to eat and get back to their table before time expires. The servers, cooks and managers are on overdrive during these spurts attempting to feed everyone expeditiously.  This is no easy task but somehow every year the casino’s survive this invasion during the tournament which usually states late October and finishes in late November.

Right now the field of 6,650 entries has whittled down to just 36. Hye Park, a resident from N.J is the chip leader with 29,500,000 as reported by WSOP officials. Should Mr. Park remain on top to win he would elevate his all time win ranking from 4787th with lifetime earnings of $475,655.($) to 130th with the 1st place prize being $8,000,000. Best of luck to those final 36.
