By Now that the persecution of Kyle Rittenhouse is finally over and he has been acquitted of all charges we can reflect on this past year and what will come next for this 18 year old. Some called him a “White Supremist” within the MSM as well as the White House when Biden used that terminology. Others say he is a person who just protected the community and his own life when he was forced to defend himself against those three individuals who where out to destroy him. Will Mr. Rittenhouse’s lawyers let the lawsuits begin!
The trial showed just how corrupt the District Attorney’s office is in Kenosha as the lead Prosecutor Thomas Binger produced “altered” pieces of evidence which caused the Defense to object many times throughout the examination. Judge Bruce Schroeder stopped to admonish the prosecutor for his conduct as well as vocalizing improper statements for a member of the court.
Gaige Grosskreutz, called by the prosecution spent close to 3 hours on the witness stand. As a witness Gaige was pretty remarkable and seemed helpful with his explanations the first hour and a half of questioning by the prosecutor. With his testimony we feel Gaige actually was a witness for the Defense as he made statements that destroyed the claim of Kyle being a vigilante. When asked about his background we found Gaige was a certified EMT. Binger asked if he was at other protests prior to the one in Kenosha and what was his concerns for being there, the answer was he noticed there was no coordinated effort to have medical personal at these protests so him and a friend decided to help those who sustain any injuries while there as there seemed to be a propensity for violence. He also stated “I felt given my level of experience and knowledge that I could be of assistance to people.” “I believe in the second amendment people have a right to bear arms” when asked if he came with a gun and why to the protest in Kenosha to assist the people.
Gaige was the one individual who survived the gunshot from Kyle as he sat on the ground with his weapon now pointed up at those advancing toward him. The first attacker came at Mr. Rittenhouse as he stubbled to the ground. He jumped kicked Kyle in the face and fell to the ground, Kyle shot twice at the attacker before he could get up and attack again.
The next individual had a Glock 27 with bullet in chamber in his right hand. The man advancing was Gaige, for a moment after the first two shots Mr. Grosskreutz put his brakes on and arms when up to protect his face. A few seconds later the arms fall and one sees the Glock pointed at Kyle as Kyle shoots at the assailant protected himself once again. The bullet hit the arm of Gaige and shatters it or “vaporized” as testimony from Mr. Grosskreutz stated.
Now who will be the first to be sued by Rittenhouse lawyers? Biden, Obama, CNN, LeBron, we know they are coming. We can assume they will be in the millions. We also can assume they will amount to more than Nick Sandmann who received an undetermined amount from several sources. We will update as news comes in as to what amounts are brought to court and who will be named.
