By Over the past few years we have watched as Silicon Valley dominated the news with their censorship ideologies. Twitter, Facebook and a host of other social media platforms have gotten involved with setting algorithms based on their personal agenda’s and if users didn’t follow their belief system they were blocked or even deleted from their platforms. Our site was shut down on Twitter because we referenced an article about Communists who killed their own when they spoke out against policies they did not agree with.
On March 3rd of this year the Speaker stated “Our Founders laid the expectation that our government would work For The People – serving the public’s interests, not special interests and fighting for hard-working families’ aspirations, hopes and dreams.” Yet Pelosi has not stood up for the “hard-working families” from the members of Silicon Valley smoothing free speech. She actually has made statements critical of those who where censoring back in 2019 when she stated “tech companies are abusing the immunity they get under the Communications Decency Act, and it “could be in jeopardy.” as she spoke with Kara Swisher one of Silicon Valley’s most influential tech journalists.
Today social media outlets have suppressed free speech influencing what members on their platforms will be exposed to. Political speech with conservative views have been banned from individuals to the President Trump. When we loose our ability to hear others communicate their thoughts that do not coincide with what they desire to hear we are in a dark time within our nation. The truth will never be seen if we only hear one side of the story.
Many others have been locked out from a few hours to complete removal for violating the platforms community standards. Candace Owens was one of many as she made reference to “Black America must wake up to the great liberal hoax. White supremacy is not a threat. Liberal supremacy is.” Later Facebook made statement it was a simple mistake and reopened the account.

Today social media outlets have suppressed free speech influencing what members on their platforms will be exposed to. Political speech with conservative views have been banned from individuals to the President Trump. When we loose our ability to hear others communicate their thoughts that do not coincide with what they desire to hear we are in a dark time within our nation. The truth will never be seen if we only hear one side of the story.
Still we move forward attempting to make other platforms as GAB has done to bring on their own servers so as not to be shut down because members on their platform do not adhere to losing out 1st Amendment rights. There are now search engines out there claiming they do not censor the contents of users. Many have run from Facebook and the others. Facebook has lost billions in advertising revenue since they began censoring content of members not kowtowing to their ideologies.
Today we see individuals fighting to remain able to speak out regardless of their message. Many lawsuits have been filed in the past few months with hopes judges will remedy the stifling of their freedom to vocalize their thoughts online. Our 1st Amendment is one of the many essential writings our Founding Fathers put forth to secure a nation like no other. Will Silicon Valley destroy what has survived and preserved our nation for over 250 years? Time will tell
