Dean Heller makes run for Governor

Today received an email in one of my many ghost email accounts with an advertisement from Heller “Republican for Governor” was the opening picture. After reading the e-mail I went to his website which provides a quick background on who Dean is.  Grew up in Carson City, worked with his Dad in the Auto shop during high school, learned about hard work and held many positions in high profile companies.  For new residents of Nevada many call the candidate our former Congressmen from the House of Representatives as well as Senator Dean Heller an office he held beginning in 2011.

One campaign promise deals with our “pandemic”. “Let me make this very clear: you will not see on the door of any convenience store, you will not see on the door on any bank, you will not see on the door of any box store, a message that you have to wear a mask because it’s been mandated by Governor Heller,” Many will vote for Heller just because of this statement as they have grown tired of constant government interference in their personal and business lives.

As our Senator Dean sponsored 17 bills that were enacted.  Of the 17 there were a few that showed resolve to accomplish getting the bill approved with support from both parties. The “Veteran Urgent Access to Mental Healthcare Act was inserted into another bill and passed to provide care to our Veterans in need which was not available  in the benefit program veterans were part of.  There were a few other bills that went on to help the Veterans of our nation. Heller made a name for himself with those bills on the Hill which was an issue that needed to be dealt with.

During his 7 years in the Senate Mr. Heller was rated as a leader by govtrackus.com as 4th most written laws compared to all Senators. HE also rated as 6th top leader with the most bipartisan bills brought up on the floor. Of the 251 bills Heller co-sponsored 39% were introduced by a member of Congress other then a Republican.

He also was the 11th most absent member of the Senate not to vote as he missed 4.0% of the votes during his tenure. Whether he was campaigning back in Nevada or traveling the world 88 bills received no vote from Heller. His 4.0% missed votes were well about the missed votes of all other senators who missed 1.5% of the votes during that time.

Let me make this very clear: you will not see on the door of any convenience store, you will not see on the door on any bank, you will not see on the door of any box store, a message that you have to wear a mask because it’s been mandated by Governor Heller,”

One picture on his website may have negative reactions from those who believe the election was stolen. Many Patriots across the nation believe the Dominion machines used algorithms to remove Trump votes and giving them to Biden. There are ongoing investigations into these serious allegations which may help our nation find the truth of our 2020 election. The picture is one of Heller with the former VP Spence.

There are many Republicans running in our Governors race with should bring about in fighting to make re-election easier for the current governor. Our former Sheriff Lombardo, a Democrat is also making a run at the governor’s office hoping to replace Sisolak. The campaign will be long and expensive.
